What are you doing right now??

Hi,

It's cooled off a little today, currently 86 degrees and 47% humidity. With little rain lately, my grass is getting dry. That rarely happens here. But I took this little break in the weather to do a summer prune on my apple tree.

Mrs. BassCliff's tomatoes are going nuts. I should help her stake them and prune them but she is the expert. ;) She's got her own lettuce and herbs too, behind the ladder in the second picture. I also blew all the acorns off the driveway again. It's been so dry lately I probalby won't mow until after next week. There's no rain in the forecast until Friday. We'll see. The smoke is gone but it's supposed to be back when the wind changes. Drat.

Now I'm enjoying a cool glass of water full of Liquid IV electrolytes. Looks like Mrs. BassCliff is thawing some pork chops for supper. I think I'll take it easy the rest of the day, maybe play with my new Western holster rig for my 686. ;) I hope you all are having a great weekend.

Just sitting under the deck catching the odd hot breeze. Just finished pulling out the rhubarb back in the garden. It’s 87 degrees and there was no breeze up until a few minutes ago.
Hayes, I’m sooo tempted to ask how you know how hot satan’s butt crack is, but I decided I don’t really want to know 😂.
If there was a competition for growing the biggest and bestest thistles, I’d be a blue ribbon winner hands down. The husband and I have a plan for those buggers. It’s too bad they are so obnoxious, the pollinators really seem to like them.

wife and i just had a fresh pizza, veggie style, and we will be having it again tomorrow.

when i tried ordering online at a "new to me" pizza place, thier delivery fee was from $10.00 to $40.00...????

like WTF.........i can only "assume" to deliver to me, its on the lower end....but i detest such a "delivery fee", but here, its normal now to pay it...the driver DOES NOT get that fee however. .....and $40.00...??? well excuuuuse me........

also we just had a sewer strangler.....a lot of rain in like 6 minutes of time.....

we have no toads.......here.......

but wife saw a large rabbit, the other night.........yup.....in da hood........

Love fresh rhubarb. Parents grew it in Maine. Strawberry/rhubarb pies are the bomb 😍
