I never called it the "crush grip" but the way I teach people to grip is to squeeze the grip until the gun starts shaking, and then back off just until it stops. If you can't see the pattern of the grip in your hand when you are done shooting, you aren't holding it hard enough.

Need a big 🔨... I had a friend install Truglo TFOs on mine and he really had to crank to get that rear sight off. That was almost 10 years ago... So they'll need to be replaced soon. Fortunately I have my own tool now. (and a three pound sledge) :cool:
