I put an 18 1/2 lb. spring in my Springfield Loaded and for "social carry", shoot Double Taps SMC 185 Gr. at 1200 fps or their 230 gr. at 1130 fps, just shy of a +P load. Recoil is still manageable, but still hotter that standard .45 loads.

Never a fan of open/exposed carry. If I'm a bad guy gonna do some harm, that wearer would be the first to hit or at least cover. Beat the drop? I don't think the odds are in your favor. Concealed, I have the advantage of waiting until I can get a clear shot.

Nice collection bro. Agreed, the single action pull is a bear unless you get used to it, has some nasty recoil tho. Never had trouble with the SA though. I like it because it's slim, light, and is a good summer/lightweight clothing piece. I've since replaced it for EDC with a Hellcat Pro Comp w/rds.

I heard that, I normally carry my M1A and Benelli M4 with appropriate load out's along with all my tac gear and trauma kit in the back of my SUV. Also, a .40 Smith in the rear lock box. I'm covered for whatever.
