I followed the directions from springfield armory. I don't think I missed the step mentioned here. It was not easy (for me) to reassemble it. I'm dreading getting the recoil spring (that entire piece) back in. I'm probably doing something wrong.

I watched the video, switched the pin to the other side reassembled everything. I was able to rack, so I set it aside. The next day I can only pull it back a few inches. Did I do something wrong? Any suggestions?
