I just broke it down and you are right. It is steel up front. Guess I just never really paid attention to that detail. Now I feel better. Thanks all. I added a red dot to it recently. Love it.

It operates great. Eats anything I feed it. Lube it after cleaning every time. Thanks for the imput.

I was cleaning my xdg 9mm mod 2 and noticed some frame wear. I have probably run 2000 to 3000 rounds through it which I don't consider a lot. Does anyone think this is an issue? I sent an email and pics to Springfield armory almost a month ago and haven't gotten a reply.
