Oops, I forgot to mention that AIWB is not an option. OWB or off body suggestions are more the direction I was looking for. Under no circumstances will I be pointing a loaded firearm at my reproductive organs or my femoral artery. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Agreed. This seems like a disaster in the making because as soon as an intruder finds your place and makes themselves known this gadget will surely fail or glitch to create a delay. Much like a RDS on a self defense pistol, it seems absolutely useless and just another point of failure between me...
