Grips aren’t the problem you either pulling the gun low left or you grip is wrong on the pistols. Push the gun to the right with you support hand thumb and make sure the rear of the slide is lined up with your eyes. This should work.

I had the exact gun and carried it for several years. Even though I don’t like a double action pistol I did force myself to really practice and try to get used to this revolver. I could shoot it fairly accurately but it was like kissing your sister just weird.

Wow having to wait a week for a handgun with instant background check is rediculous. Here in Ga if you have your carry permit they don’t even run a background check.
