    .45 Colt load with Titegroup

I've been loading for the old warhorse .45 Colt for many years. As posted above I started out with Unique. We all know especially with the older Unique anything below max was going to leave a lot of residual unburned flakes behind. Similar but a bit cleaner results with Universal. Because of its...

    Reloading Powder

I bought several pounds a few years back. Whenever I'd see it I'd pickup another pound or 4 here and there. It's very similar to Unique, but when loaded up near max charge burned much cleaner than the pre-update Unique formula. Alliant has priced themselves off my list. Many times I can find...

Why I Carry with an Empty Chamber — Should You?

While I agree with your post, especially on the top little training, I can’t make myself see this is for me. Too many scenarios where I can’t use both hands. As stated YMMV

The 41 Mag dies are like new with one exception. The sizing die set screw for the lock ring had been tightened to the point...

Bargain Buying Yourself To The Poorhouse

I simply have a problem passing up a bargain price on handloading products. I had another example of it this week when I stopped by a local shop that I knew had several less common die sets on the shelf. I went in looking for .32WCF/32-20 dies. Well there were no 32-20 dies, but I did find...

    What’s your Favorite Reloading Press?

I’ve had too many to list. Going through them there was something less than desirable about each one. Over the years I sold and gave away a pile of presses. I purchased the Lee Classic Cast Turret press when it was first released and I still find it to be the most convenient to use consistent...

Reloading: Are Classic Powders Still Relevant?

If you don’t think they’re still relevant, look at prices on IMR4350. $55+/lb. Varget and Universal Clays are the two newest powders I’ve adopted, that was about 20 years ago.
