I agree with ya. I have a one piece guide rod also ready to install, I’ve shot my spring and guide rod across my shop a few times now looking forward to the one piece.

There’s stuff I might be able to do and then again I have no business trying to. The work done is the same as some others stated. I’m just so happy it didn’t jam. It’s a straight shooter. Now I figure at the prices of firearms these days they are it’s worth the $$ spent at purchase.

Well got my prodigy back from Springfield (I had a jamming machine) and to the range and 300 rounds later, It shot flawlessly! So cool not to have a failure. Thank you customer service and whoever did the work. 😁 My advice is to anyone having a ftf or fte just let Springfield fix it. Save money.

kinda funny, “new” prodigy. I thought it had been awhile since the release? Maybe all the early bugs are worked out? Waiting on mine to come back from SA. I hope it’s like new. Anyway for us who have owned one for a while the “new” made me chuckle. Maybe it should have said better than new. Lol.

I’m glad I’m retired also. I could Not get along in this new workplace either.
