Back in the 80s I lusted after an Anschutz bolt action pistol. The bolt was on the left so that when you needed to cycle the action you didn't need to take your hand off the grip. This handgun, as it is, would be great for a left handed person.

When I was actively trying to get better, I got an airsoft version of my competition pistol and set up targets with proper backers on the walls. This allowed me to practice draw and shoot, reloads, and shooting on the move and from behind barricades. It did improve my shooting and it's a lot...
