    Red dot vs. Green dot

I did not know that and will have to check it out. Thanks. Right now I use two ARO EVOs and an EPS carry. Very pleased with my holosun's.

    Red dot vs. Green dot

I much prefer Holosun's Gold dot offerings. I'm slightly red/green colorblind so the amber dot is much easier to discern on varied backgrounds. I'll always reach for a Holosun Gold over anything else. I'm surprised no one else has come up with an amber offering.

How My EDC Evolved as a Parent

I'm not a parent but I've said before that starting to carry a small 1.5L fanny/waist pack daily has really revolutionized the amount of ammo I can carry easily and allows me to carry other medical essentials without having to think about it. I think getting a small daily bag is one of the best...

Two Biggest First-Time Gun Buyer Mistakes

It's funny you post this because the CZ Shadow was the one pistol I had in mind above $1000 that I think really breaks what I was posting. I'll own a Shadow 2 eventually.

Two Biggest First-Time Gun Buyer Mistakes

I just can't stand the glock grip and grip angle. It feels off. The chunky square grip isn't for me either. If they released a glock that had a more ergonomic grip, I'd be much more willing to try it. But as it stands M&Ps are for me.

Two Biggest First-Time Gun Buyer Mistakes

The $500-$1000 bracket is PACKED with good options that fit just about anyone's needs. I won't denigrate people that spend more on an EDC but it's just luxury above ~$1000 IMO, definitely above $1500.

    Review: Springfield Armory Kuna .40

I have right around 15 Kuna mags and 2 of them have slight cracks down the back of the spine. I dropped one on concrete while taped jungle style to another mag so it was 2x the weight. Not too bad. I'm chalking it up to early production issues because it hasn't happened since. I've not had...

    ConcealedCarry attire

I don't think you should have to change how you dress to carry a gun. Women can and should carry in dresses and skirts. Men don't have to wear belts or heavy pants. With an enigma you can carry with 0 regard to what you're wearing and you can probably carry a larger gun while you're at.

    Think NASCAR is about dead……

I went and saw a Cleetus McFarland crown vic race IRL as well and that was also an excellent experience overall. That was some real deal racing in my opinion.

    Think NASCAR is about dead……

Growing up my mother's side of the family was big into NASCAR and I always enjoyed it. We were all huge Dale Earnhardt fans. I still remember what I was doing when I was told Dale Earnhardt died. It's just never been the same since. I will say I've enjoyed watching some of Cleetus McFarland...

    ConcealedCarry attire

Right now it's just been the Shield X w/ 15rd extended, EPS carry and TLR-7 sub pictured. So a pretty small compact or subcompact but I think the enigma would still be good with a larger frame gun. The way it holds the gun to your body without affecting your pants really changes things IMO...

    ConcealedCarry attire

I think the key is uncoupling what holds up the weight of the gun from what holds up the waist of your pants. I won't go back to holsters that rely on the same belt as my pants. No more feeling of my gun "hanging off" me or pulling my pants down etc. Just a gun that's held tight to my body...

    ConcealedCarry attire

https://www.phlsterholsters.com/ It's basically just a Holster with a soft belt attached but it's so much more secure than any clips in actual practice. And it's the only holster I can wear all day without discomfort. Shield X + TLR 7 sub + EPS Carry pictured.

    Let's see your AR setups...

Recently bought my first AR. Just a simple 16" Ruger Harrier Magpul edition. For $575 OTD, I think it's a decent purchase as a civilian general purpose rifle. Mostly just so I can stick it in the safe with a pile of mags and use it for SHTF insurance so to speak. Slapped another ARO EVO +...

    ConcealedCarry attire

It really is the one holster to rule them all. Clothing just isn't a consideration once you use an Enigma. Especially the Open Source models they sell unassembled where you bring your own kydex holster. You can *really* fine-tune your own personal setup. I'm also a STRONG believer that...
