My lease is up in two months and I'm definitely moving. Two of the shootings I simply witnessed and were standard "gang shootings" and I was completely uninvolved. But two of the shootings I fired my gun and they happened outside of the city in areas where you absolutely wouldn't expect to...

Two of those guesses are close. Inner city rust belt. In the last three years or so, I've witnessed or been involved in 4 shootings.

The Kuna fits perfectly behind my passenger seat in my Miata (so if it'll fit there, it'll fit in ANY vehicle) and I can even fit it under my jacket without looking out of place. It's the perfect large pistol.

You want it bufferless? Then get the Kuna. I'm of the opinion the Kuna is the superior firearm either way. I commonly rock mine without any brace and it's super compact in that form.

At night when I walk my dog I like to carry my Kuna on a sling tucked up under my arm with a jacket over top of everything. I like the fact that the sling keeps the gun from being dropped or taken from me easily.

I started carrying a small waist pack most days when I go out. I can easily stash my wallet, keys, meds, disposable hearing protection etc along with 3-4 extra 15rd mags for my Shield X. All indexed nicely and strapped in so they don't rattle. Shield X itself rides in a Phlster Enigma at 3...

I did not know that and will have to check it out. Thanks. Right now I use two ARO EVOs and an EPS carry. Very pleased with my holosun's.

I much prefer Holosun's Gold dot offerings. I'm slightly red/green colorblind so the amber dot is much easier to discern on varied backgrounds. I'll always reach for a Holosun Gold over anything else. I'm surprised no one else has come up with an amber offering.

I'm not a parent but I've said before that starting to carry a small 1.5L fanny/waist pack daily has really revolutionized the amount of ammo I can carry easily and allows me to carry other medical essentials without having to think about it. I think getting a small daily bag is one of the best...

It's funny you post this because the CZ Shadow was the one pistol I had in mind above $1000 that I think really breaks what I was posting. I'll own a Shadow 2 eventually.

I just can't stand the glock grip and grip angle. It feels off. The chunky square grip isn't for me either. If they released a glock that had a more ergonomic grip, I'd be much more willing to try it. But as it stands M&Ps are for me.

The $500-$1000 bracket is PACKED with good options that fit just about anyone's needs. I won't denigrate people that spend more on an EDC but it's just luxury above ~$1000 IMO, definitely above $1500.

I have right around 15 Kuna mags and 2 of them have slight cracks down the back of the spine. I dropped one on concrete while taped jungle style to another mag so it was 2x the weight. Not too bad. I'm chalking it up to early production issues because it hasn't happened since. I've not had...

I don't think you should have to change how you dress to carry a gun. Women can and should carry in dresses and skirts. Men don't have to wear belts or heavy pants. With an enigma you can carry with 0 regard to what you're wearing and you can probably carry a larger gun while you're at.

I went and saw a Cleetus McFarland crown vic race IRL as well and that was also an excellent experience overall. That was some real deal racing in my opinion.
