I think of PCCs as an extension of the SMG class. Just like SMGs there a place where they excel and places were they dont. In an Urban/Suburban location where ranges are short(er) the SMG is a great tool. In 9mm (40SW) or 45acp it allows carrying more ammo in a smaller space than rifle...
