If Kimber can make a compact 45 ACP, why can't Springfield? I love my Kimber CDP and carry it daily.

I ordered the Strikeman from Strikeman. They claim fast shipping, but all I've gotten so far is an abundance of emails. Can't use what they don't ship. I already have it if I ordered through Amazon.

That's what my Ronin's are. The ones that I got with the TRP have nothing but "45ACP."

I've been carrying a Kimber Ultra CDP since 2002. I shoot it regularly and have yet to have a malfunction. I also have both 5" and 4.25" Ronin in 45ACP; I like both of those, but not for EDC.

Anyone know why they stopped production?

I was referring to a 1911 akin to the Kimber Ultra CDP.

I've had my Ronin 10mm just over six months now. It took a while to find one, but it is now my favorite 10. I also own a Ronin 45 and it is second only to my Kimber CDP 45. What's changes of getting SA to make a 10 or a 45 compact with a three inch barrel?

Today I took both Ronins out and ran 100 rounds each through them. The ammo used was 230gr FMJ from LAX ammumition. No issues with either pistol or the ammo. The only comment I can provide is that the ammo was very dirty. I don't know what powder they use in their reloads, but it was dirty...
