I would carry if I ever went camping.... I do carry my Kershaw knife as well. Pepper spray is nice, but usually not part of my EDC (every day carry). A first aid kit is always in the back of my car, and I have a tourniquet in my ammo box.

Active Self Protection channel on youtube discusses this issue at length. Stepping into a third party encounter is very risky, and should only be done if shots have already been fired, or if you, or your loved one's life is in danger. Its good to consider these issues and have a plan in place...
