Nice title I thought. My gun light search ended with what I had, put my Streamlight TLR-7A on her. It may not have the greatest candela but for a home D gun it’s fine, for now. I like the smaller profile, but it’s wide, no pad and easily thumb-able. Off to the range, in the dark, scary. 😱...

I’ve got nothing to add to the rabbit hole. But..I’m leaning towards a 3D printed one, they seem to be a touch quieter. Cleaning requires soaking in chemicals. So I dunno yet. The printing allows more baffles, nooks, crannies, leads to more shhhh. But I’m not an authority.
