Thanks man. It took me a long time to stop front sight focus on the pistol all the time event though on rifles I literally have tens of thousands of round with optics all target focus . Once it clicks is like the first time you had pizza , HOOKED>

100% on we qualed out to 300 meters with aimpoints and its all target focused with super imposed dot

Absolutely, training just give the mind a neuro pathway to a possible response. That's why situational or force on force training is so valuable.

I think many people get a bit nervous or overwhelmed at the thought, process and cost of swapping to a dot. Then when they practice and make that focal shift they understand and the benefits become immediately noticeable. Having an astigmatism myself swapping to a dot made a big difference.

It can be a lot of fun and help. When we train in groups this is always a competition we start and end with. Gotta leave the range with bragging rights or a mission to win on the next trip.

This is the Blue Alpha molle belt with their velcro under belt. Its a great set up. This one is rigged up with G code mag carriers and a Safariland QLS low ride belt mount so I can swap from holster to holster .

This drill can definitely humble and build skill.
