Don't hate me for this suggestion...Have you ever looked at Tactica Belly Band? Perfect draw position, kydex (fit specifically for your model) keeps it secure, no digging when you sit, comfortable as all hell. I just think it's. a step up from pure appendix carry.

Anyone that knows what they're doing carries on an empty chamber...and then when the action starts they rack the slide and give a steely look into the camera. That's how all the action stars do it.

Love my Hellcat, but people that say they pocket carry a Hellcat have huge pockets.

That's awesome...except I appendix carry and well...

I'm a huge fan of belly band carry...but this one is by far the best one I've ever owned. I like the way it is angled perfectly in the kydex, and it's way more comfortable than IWB. It's by Tactica and they said as soon as they get enough requests for the optics, they'll release a version of it.

Maybe I shouldn't be quick to dismiss the PM9. If the trigger pull weight is strong enough, I'd feel safe appendix carrying in my belly band. Anyone question the reliability of this gun?

I do like the step up to a 9mm. I sold my Ruger LC9 (wished I hadn't done that). The single stack makes it really thin so it doesn't print easily under a tee shirt. The LCP fits in shorts pocket and might be the best solution for summer carry.

Las Vegas boiling heat is only a month or two away. Tell me what gun would replace my Ruger LCP as my summer EDC based on the following: 1. Cannot be much larger than the LCP. 2. Single stack. 3. Manual safety or a 7#+ trigger. 4. Absolutely reliable...no jamming, no finicky ammo.

124gr works great...I use the 147gr for EDC, and that runs great as well.

Here's the most fascinating part of this story (and you can plug in any specialty manufacturer in here...not just ammo)....With a limited number of ammo makers, why aren't they raising their prices (sure prices are going up through the secondary market), and why aren't they expanding. To me...

Not sure, but it's the same trigger on the Hellcat RDP...and now it's on all Hellcat models shipped from Jan 1.

All Hellcats shipped out of S.A. in Jan 2021 have the new gen trigger. It's also a wider blade.
