Been carrying these two for the last month. Shot the 817 at the range and I like it so much it’s my main belt carry gun. As always, gotta have a lightweight J frame in my pocket.

I park well away from others. My fat self can use the walk. I scope out the area as I walk. One hand is in my pocket holding a J-Frame if I feel the need. Another can draw pepper gel if needed. I try to avoid trouble. So far so good.

I’m in Florida for four months. I live in Ohio eight months. Whether I have short pants and a T-shirt or long pants and a sweatshirt, I carry two firearms daily. Well, this is what I brought to Florida for the winter. One of the 2J frames is always in my pocket and I alternate belt curry with the 817 on the bottom or the Glock 26 on the top. Today it’s the 817 in the waistband and the 638 in my pocket.

When I camped and hiked in Yellowstone three years in a row, the Rangers always told us to put bells on our shoes make some kind of noise so you didn’t surprise the bear. If they heard noises, they are more apt to run away than attack.

People probably notice me printing all the time. I’m heavy. I got a pepper gel on my belt, a phone case on my belt. I got a gun tucked in my waistband and one in my offhand pocket. The guns print less than the stuff on my belt.

I found that shipping from the local UPS store, the employee couldn’t read cursive. If we hadn’t stuck around and helped him, our stuff would be in limbo. This is probably possible with any mail or shipping service.

I wish they would just pick to have the daylight lasting as long as possible and leave it that way.
