As many have stated here, I can't see why you wouldn't carry while camping. Especially if you carry every day to begin with, why would you stop now?

Agreed, rule #4 is the big one to remember here: know your target and what's beyond, and around it. If you're gonna do something like this it'd probably have to be a close in shot at an angle. A straight on shot would likely hit unintended targets.
