After checking the optics mounting. I'd check the barrel nut torque. Too loose or too tight will cause craziness as well. Check the gas block and tube to make sure they aren't rubbing the handguard. Check the gas tube goes into the BCG smoothly and doesn't bind.

Most days I EDC a P365xl in a Safariland Species AIWB holster. Have a extra mag on a NeoMag pocket clip. Some days, it's a P365 or a S&W 642-2 Airweight in a Desantis B2 pocket holster. Depending on what the New Year brings I might need to increase my payload.

I have one here someplace as well. They were still using them in the late 70's

Before I lost 70+ pounds I found OWB Leather Holsters worked great for me. I do still use them sometimes.

Holosun makes a direct mount optic for S&W guns now it's the SCS Series. I have the SCS-MP2-GR on my M&P2.0 Compact. It's worked great so far, it's constant on and solar. Only thing I didn't like, it's constant on, (it does have a really small on/off switch) and you can't replace the battery...

Haven't had any issues with most of the knock off stuff on Amazon. I'd look at what the "verified" reviews say. For AR's I usually use vice blocks to hold things

Man I feel lucky .... Still has OEM springs in the gun. Mine is a very early (under 2k serial number) only issues I've had with it were magazine related. New mag springs. The stamped feed lips had burrs on the inside from the stamping. Cleaned up easily. Followers were rough as well.
