you are probably ridding the slide, let it slam forward, or use the slide release, if you are determined to carry empty chamber, (not a good idea) I suggest a bigger gun or DA/SA weapon.

it's true .22 will kill, but it will take a long, long time, long enough to beach the crap out of the shooter, don't get me wrong you all carry what you feel comfortable with, just don't try to convince me.

If is justified SD shot, it is justifiable, no court involve, if is a negligent discharge or injuring other than the intended target, one is screw anyway, whether the trigger is 6lb or 4lb if is the later trigger pull, one might just hit the intended target then.
