Winding down after pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw and potato salad. Watching Angel Has Fallen and I’m about ready to hit the shower. 3:15AM comes obnoxiously early these days. 😎

Limestone springs up there maybe? The best water I've had right out of the ground was from a little limestone spring in central Manitoba...in the middle of nowhere. I only found it because I while on a bike ride in the boonies, I decided to stop and scout around a bit.

Just had to close up the house due to the extremely thick smoke in the air. It rolled in like a thick fog. Guess I’ll be spending most of the day inside. We are under an air quality alert until tomorrow night. 😒

I love this time of year up here. It’s 9:40PM right now and the solar lights are just coming on. It doesn’t get truly dark until well after 10PM.

Having a real fire pit fire instead of a gas fueled one.

I have a couple of S&W M&P pistols that were LE Trade ins. There was a little bit of holster wear, but aside from that they were like new and shoot flawlessly.

Just heard from my best friend in Manitoba. I have a very good friend who is an RCMP constable. He is posted at FlinFlon Manitoba. His detachment has been evacuated along with the town. He and his family are safe from the fires for now. The military has been deployed to Manitoba and...
