    Range Report: VP9+Echelon 4.5 Comp, 5/28/25

Great writeup brother! I especially enjoyed seeing that new range. The target distance tech they use there is far more advanced than my local range. As a matter of fact, I'd say 4 out of 5 stalls at my local range back up 0.5 meters when you send the target out. You'll hit the button and set it...

Special ammo for century old rifles?

    Always good advice.

Purchased a NIB Tokarev TBP-12. When I took it to the range, I almost immediately started having cycling issues. After getting home, I tore it apart and the bolt was factory defective. I contacted SDS for warranty, and the entire process was super smooth. They sent me a new bolt, so I threw it...

Yeah, just to test it out, I configured a lower parts kit and then individually priced the parts on other sites, they're averaging anywhere from 2-20 dollars cheaper per part which I thought was pretty cool.

Nice. Just found out that AR15Discounts has a configurator for upper parts and for lower parts where you can go step by step and choose whatever options you want for your build. Pretty solid.

I'm glad to hear so many good things across the board from all of you guys. Thank y'all. Will keep you posted. Over the summer I'm gonna do a build and I'll do a write up in the "Guns" forum. Much love.

Were they stripped lowers or complete? Just curious. That's one hell of a deal either way.

Strictly seeking knowledge. I keep hearing that Anderson Manufacturing makes "a boatload" of AR parts for other big name brand AR companies, but I'm struggling to find much information on it. Their website is pretty vague outside they have "outmanufactured every other company the last two years...

    How I Homebuilt a Howitzer

This was my farewell shot as a Sergeant in 2016. 1 shot 12 kills. Putting warheads on foreheads since 1775.

Awesome. Much appreciated brother. Will keep y'all updated.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Yeah, that's the issue, I can't get it to move backwards at all. My next thought is to just bend the extractor in half and use the punch/hammer to drive the thicker half of the extractor out the back of the bolt head, but I was trying to see if there was another way. Much appreciated on the...

    Anyone got any ideas?

Thank you for being here, I could use your help. I've exhausted my knowledge, and youtube's knowledge, to try to figure this out but I'm still having issues. The extractor on my Mosin 91/30's bolt seems to be stuck and I'm having trouble taking it off. I've used a brass punch and hammer to...

    How I Homebuilt a Howitzer

Great read! Couple of things: 1) If anyone has ever been around the Amish, you know what I'm talking about. Such a kind (and brilliant) people. While I'm not Amish, most of my family lives in or around Amish Country so I'm out there sharing the road with horse/buggies and not shying away from a...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

    1) I wish I had as much disposable income as you haha 2) That last bit seems crazy right? Back in the day, "pray for peace, prepare for war" doesn't have the same effect now with "Taco Smell", and "Burger Queen" on every base.....lance criminals "dunkin" entire paychecks into pogey bait. Ah...
