We have it good here at TAL.

This forum is the only one I've ever been on. Joined in 2023 really enjoy the discussions on a wide variety of subjects. I'm an old rascal somewhat opinionated but rarely does a week go by that I don't learn something new about firearms and related subjects. Also enjoy discussions about life...

    Is Constitutional Carry a Mistake?

Same here. Belong to two club ranges they require logins & outs and what ranges used. They are very strict on safety rules if caught violating them it's probably membership cancellation. Like Bob been lucky haven't seen any severe safety violations. We don't have RSO's but members are...

Carrying Concealed: Are Old Fanny Packs The New Trend?

Never used a fanny pack. As a photojournalist wore a multi-pocket vest that was great for concealing a j-frame revolver. Forgot to add always had at least one camera around my neck while wearing the vest. When not wearing the vest I kept the little Smith in my camera bag.

Is a .22LR round plausible for self defense?

As has been said a 22 is better than throwing rocks or sharp sticks. If a 22 is all you have for self/home defense good luck. For the life of me don't know why anyone would pick a 22 especially if they have access to a larger caliber handgun/rifle. Just my opinion.

What are you doing right now??

Mantis-X showed I was gripping too hard during trigger pull, not enough finger on trigger, excessive movement during trigger press and not following through after trigger press. So far the P-365 is the only pistol I'm fighting with do pretty good with others. I'll get it figured out, I hope.

What are you doing right now??

According to MantisX I couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle. The Sig P-365 Fuse and I are not getting along right now, need much more dry firing before hitting the range. Have identified a few critical mistakes now have to correct them.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Got this Real Avid torque wrench about an hour ago. Main selling point for me is it's one inch pound adjustable from 10-70 inch pounds. Been using Caldwell Fat wrenches for years think this will be a good addition.
