    post good news here!

My daughter bought her first gun yesterday. (Technically not HER first as I have bought her 2 pistols since she turned 18) but this is the first she paid for and did the paperwork and such. She tuned 21 on Christmas Day She went with the Sig 365 in 9MM. Got the TACPAC with the 3 12 round mags...

Federal appeals court rules handgun ban on adults under 21 is 'unconstitutional'

I wonder if it SCOTUS will take it, and what they will do if they do I am guessing SCOTUS will side that the ban is unconstitutional?

    Ryobi or Milwaukee

I used my Ryobi cordless tools to build my father in law's wheel chair ramp and had zero issues. My Harbor Freight miter say, however, did not survive the ordeal. And my Ryobi drill is 5 times older than the saw

    Buckeye's Huge Hurrah!

Ended up being an ugly game. Great start, then Notre Dame fell apart. QUestionable play calling on both teams, and Notre Dame chocked big time. I am not a fan of their team (Go Blue!) but expected a better game. Ohio State definitely was the better team, but, they almost let Notre Dame come back.

Top selling handguns in USA for 2024

I think part of the problem with revolvers is simply cost. There's many, many more semi autos than revolvers at a "decent" price, say $500 to $600 There are very, very few revolvers for under $300 while you can find many semi autos for around that, and once you get to like $600 it's even...

Top selling handguns in USA for 2024

My daughter is looking for her first carry gun. Seriously considering the Sig 365. I love my Hellcat Pro, but the modularity/customization of the Sig really puts it in it's own class

MCK Glock Conversion Kit: A Quick Review

I have thought this for a long time, too. There are more accessories for Glocks than any other handgun. Why is that necessary if it is perfect already? I currently have a Glock 17, gen 4. It's okay. It's had a few upgraded done ( I brought it used that way) and it's decent enough. But it's far...

Cover Concepts for the Armed Citizen

I agree and noticed that right away. The article does say. That is how we are are trained in my agency. We are about an arm's length behind cover. We come out only as much as necessary. Also, if we are right-handed, and have to come out of the left side, we are encouraged to think about...

    Some New Guns for 2025

I am actually seriously interested in one of the new Hi Points. Might have to grab one, probably in 10MM, to go with my JXP 10

    Shoes and boots

I have had bad luck with Sketchers. Last few pairs, very comfortable when new, but break down quickly. The memory foam inside loses it's comfort way too quickly, and overall, they just don't hold up well. Not crazy expensive, maybe the key is to just buy a new pair every 6 months? Currently...

What's going on at Fort Bragg?

cLet's say everything we are reading/hearing is true. He was suffering from a TBI and PTSD/Depression. Sure, those things can definitely lead to suicide. But none of the rest makes sense and the fact that he chose a public place hours apart from another attack at a public place. And this guy...

What's going on at Fort Bragg?

That does make some sense. But then why did he shoot himself in the head before the bomb detonated. if was just about suicide, he could have shot himself anywhere and not had a bomb in public.

What's going on at Fort Bragg?

From what I am reading (just this morning) they weren't at Fort Liberty at the same time. However, there is NO way that these events aren't related somehow. There is a common person or group somewhere that both of these men had contact with that is the connection. If you hear footprints...

Cop disarms legal carrier and shoots him by mistake

My experience has been interesting. I work for Parole, so everyone I deal with actually is a criminal. Our training (when I went through academy 5 years ago was conflicting. All of our classroom training was about rapport building, verbal judo, motivational interviewing, deescalating, etc...

Cop disarms legal carrier and shoots him by mistake

As someone who works in law enforcement, I really wish police officers would stop being so afraid of the "g" word. Instead of automatically assuming that every interaction would a gun carrier will turn deadly, just carry out the stop as a normal one and go about your business

College QB 8 Million for two years.

Sure But again, the NCAA makes a lot, a crap ton, of money off the players. So, nothing wrong with the players getting some of that

College QB 8 Million for two years.

that's saving money, not making money.

College QB 8 Million for two years.

I don't mind the concept. College sports, especially football and basketball, are big money items. I don't have a problem with the athletes making some money for their product. But I don't think it's being handled correctly
