    Open carry is for fools!

Same here on the MS Gulf Coast. Big spring break. A good deal of any violence hasn't been from college students. It was from outsiders that had different motives. One year on weekend 4 people get shot. One being a cop. Following year the police show with tactical gear and rifles. Problem solved...

    Open carry is for fools!

A really loud bang usually gets attention. Most people run in the opposite direction when it comes to a crowd. Alcohol and drugs might put a different perspective in some cases. Either way brandishing could go in the wrong direction when it comes to a large crowd. Plain and simple if you're...

    Mil-Spec 1911 “Retro Custom”

Bought a SW 69 44 magnum revolver about 10 years ago. Since then I've probably pushed the envelope with around $800 in mods. Quad porting etc etc etc. Think I've gone as far as I can go.

Years ago or a couple of lifetimes.. I had a friend in high school who flew to Ft. Lewis to see his older brother in Washington State. He was wearing a pair of jeans. Those said jeans also had a 1st. Cav patch sewed on the ***. While in the barracks his brother introduced a guy he was serving...

    Open carry is for fools!

I'm sure that most attempts to adapt most any of Leonard's books is probably hard. My dad was a big fan of his. I still enjoyed the series. The same could probably be said about Grishham. Then again I've never read any Leonard.

Lucky enough to have retired. Livin on the MS Gulf Coast now. Constitutional carry down here. No permit required. Open or concealed if a resident. Here on the coast they say "ain't no hell". Up in the delta they say "hell there ain't". 🤫

So... Does anyone else here purchase a firearm that's inherently fine just the way it is and try to improve on it? Asking for a friend 😉

When it comes down to it, what is your "go to" EDC?

Usually have the SW 642. It's a good light handgun that's perfect for most personal defense situations. Nothing against a good auto but I find a little simplicity goes a long way. Most situations tend to be up close and personal. This is what I want at the ATM. This is what I want pumping gas in...
