    Which Commercials Pi$$ You Off?

I was wondering if it was an open face sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy on top…

New Products to be announced by Smith & Wesson

I agree…I’ve got plenty of .357’s if I want that level of 10mm performance…and a couple of .41’s if I want TRUE magnum performance over 180gr. And…yes, it would be nice to see the 657 Hunter brought back. I really like mine, and it will be one of my last big-bores to go. A new 657 Mountain...

    Which Commercials Pi$$ You Off?

Streaming pretty much takes care of the commercial issue. It’s REALLY nice during political seasons…

    Commercials? What are those?

    Retay Arms RXP22

That’s why I got my FN502. It’s hammer fired, has a safety, and was optics ready from multiple footprints.

Bersa gets in the 2011 game…made in the USA.

Agree. I’m mightily impressed with my 5” Prodigy…I was ringing a 4” steel at 25 yards fairly easily, and that was with no dot…and blaster grade ammo. It went from my “maybe let it go” list to my “keeper” list fairly quickly.

    Echelon 4.5 threaded barrel?

Your likely better off getting an aftermarket barrel.

Bersa gets in the 2011 game…made in the USA.

https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/bersa-m2xi-9mm-double-stack-1911-review/ Interesting, but the accuracy doesn’t look that great, and the price isn’t that far off a Prodigy.

    AOS vs other Prodigy plates…

    Thanks—I’ll do that.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Fun thing is… I “replaced” my set with a top of the line unit from the local welding supply…and presented that receipt to work. Then bought a set from Harbor Freight for about half what the other set ran that I actually brought in to work… Waiting for them to get stolen, so I can get another...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Hell yes they are. I had a set my dad bought as a spare set an an auction in the 1980’s, and brought to work (I could grab oxy & acetylene tanks, or even a torch with no problem—but regulators are freakin GOLD where I work…); somebody stole ‘em a few years ago, and work paid for...

    AOS vs other Prodigy plates…

Pretty sure I’ve got a tall front sight already? I tried the included plate (Docter/Hex) with a PA sight that…has issues (likes to turn itself off under recoil) and had no cowitness problems.

1990s Forgotten Classic: The Walther P88

I had my hands on a P5 once…shouldn’t have passed.

You HAVE to get rid of a gun in your collection...

Well… Custom Carry 5”, 3” 50 yard guarantee (and it holds to that either factory ammo…I’ve shot just over that with Remington Golden Sabers). FCS delete option, with VZ 10-8 operator grips. It’s in excellent condition; very well cared for, and only carried in leather holsters. No issues...

XS Sights Adds Springfield Echelon to R3D 2.0 Night Sight List

Interesting; I’ve found U-Notch far better than a square notch for fast & accurate acquisition.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

A brick of Aguila .22, a couple boxes of AE 124gr 9mm FMJ, a used TLR1HL, and a We The People Prodigy holster.

You'd think Kathy Griffin learned the first time... but no.

You’re right; I see no difference between the two. Are you trying to claim there is?

    AOS vs other Prodigy plates…

Getting a DPP plate for my Prodigy…I’ve read the Agency plates can be a little quality-challenged; is it worth a little extra for a Dawson? I do prefer the AOS U-notch, but I could live with a square…

    TSA Precheck

Good grief. You know it’s the same test to be a commercial pilot, regardless of your skin color or gender, right? You talked about virtue signaling in another thread—buddy, you just right wing virtue signaled in a BIG way.

    TSA Precheck

I tend to go places where driving isn’t an option…unless they’ve built a bridge to Scotland I haven’t heard about. Honestly, it’s a non-issue. I show up at the airport a couple hours before the flight, and if everything goes smooth, I’m in the premium lounge for a while, sucking down free...
