I’m down to 1. Although, to be honest…I don’t think I’ve ever really had more than 2 at any given time…maybe 3 at one point? I don’t count Garands or 03’s, as they are not a product of the current SA.

That might depend on the gun. I, personally, put a couple rounds of 9mm through a Beretta 96 (.40) when I accidentally grabbed the wrong mags. Was it a single shot? Yes. Did the bullets keyhole? Yes. But did it deadline the gun? No. Seen the same thing happen with a Glock 23…gun still...

Gun store circuit. Bought a brick of .22, a used TLR1HL, and a couple boxes of 9mm blasters. Thinking about going back…one place had a couple of nice S&W Model 15’s; one 4”, one 2”. Mulling it over. Prices were fair, but not great…not sure if they’ll move.

This is true. When my wife & I went to Hawaii a little bit ago, my 1st class ticket got me through security faster than her precheck by about 5 minutes.

Fact is, though—most gunfights end with non-vital hits. Psychological stops—that is, stopping the fight after a non-vital hit, because your brain tells you to stop—is a very, very common result; far more common than gunfights needing a truly “anchoring” wound.

Yeah…I’ll stick with mags that have chugging right along for 60 years, give or take, in my 9mm PDW’s.
