Meh. The allure of ACOGs and Mepros is usually not having to fiddle with batteries. I wouldn't buy the M22 and then convert it to battery use. BUIS is good enough for me and might work better in low light where illuminated reticle can occlude PID.

When I started working protection I was issued a company phone and a notebook (moleskine) the phone was for comms and checking air tags. The notebook got way more use. Fast, convenient, and doesn't mess with night vision.

I still prefer the DoE gun but man that brace is walking a fine line.
