    2 new A salt pistols

I am out of my blackpowder phase, but these are the two of the most graceful pistols ever made. I should have one of these in my home office desk drawer just to look at...and not be afraid of having a pistol out of the safe that is not on my hip.

    Cylinder & Slide’s Mil-Spec 1911 Magic

Bill Laughridge does great work. Years ago he slicked up a Colt 1911 for me, so later I had him slick up a S&W 1911 and install an Ed Brown barrel and bushing. He replaced all the MIM parts with Ed Brown Hardcore Parts. And of course an arched mainspring housing. He was in town for the Bianchi...

Don't ask for mayo at Checkers

Global Warming. Look, since kindergarten these kids have been brainwashed by the public school system that their grandparents screwed them with their cars and air conditioning and industrialization, so the planet is going to end in X years. Why waste time getting an education or a good job when...

Dodge pulling the plug on electric Charger g/t

A hybrid makes sense to me. All electric does not. And I do have some ownership experience. When we first started dating, my wife had a Prius. Her definition of a "good car" was based on gas mileage. Terrible waste of potential fun. It was a great car...she had purchased it new, and outside of...

    Kel-Tec PR57

Remember the Grendel .380? Loaded from the top, blind magazine using AR stripper clips! George Kellgreen is not afraid to try different ideas, that is for sure.

The new M1 Garand by CMP

Precisely. World War Two was won by kids the same age I see working at the grocery store today that can't set their phones down long enough to stock the shelves. It was the backbone of the Fighting Men that sacrificed so we can live the easy life we live. I owe it to their memory to have one to...

The new M1 Garand by CMP

I have always felt my lack of a Garand was the chink in my cultural armor. A true Gentleman would have a Garand to go with his 1911.

    Nice deal on 507K GR

No Beltfed, I taught them to shoot without a rest!

    Australia to tax unrealized gains

I think this would affect too many voters. I hope so anyway. The only thing that keeps a politician away from your money is when they are afraid the voters would throw them out of office for it. They are too protective of their gravy train with biscuit wheel jobs to anger that many voters...I...

New Orleans jailbreak - employee arrested.

Annihilator, sounds like you should be a highly paid "consultant" to the news agencies. They could have had a scoop if they had someone on the team that knew anything!

    Nice deal on 507K GR

I was perfectly happy with my red dots...and you gents all know the story from here. One of my shooting buddies showed up with a Holosun with a green circle dot and let me try it, then all my red dots didn't seem quite adequate. It always costs me when I shoot with friends instead of shooting alone.

    Bill Belichick:s girlfriend

I dunno Belt Fed...that hair was a sign of the times. I was not allowed to keep my hair that long, but I bet I would have if my folks had let me!!!!

    Bill Belichick:s girlfriend

College dorm room. Of course I parked a motorcycle there. Most of my life, when in doubt about the correct path to take, all I do is ask myself "What would Elvis do?" and the answer appears.

    Bill Belichick:s girlfriend

I was mostly a British Bike guy. Triumphs and Nortons. I had a few sport bikes to see what the fuss was about, but they didn't sound or look right.

    Bill Belichick:s girlfriend

Who could compete with that?!?!? If that had been a Ford truck, you would have been the King of the Club Scene instead of just the Prince of the Roadhouse!

    Bill Belichick:s girlfriend

Agreed about the wardrobe. Serious riding calls for serious clothing. I must have had a date or something. Back then, people still dressed for dinner. Unless I was cooking at my house. Amazing how many girls of that age didn't cook. A home cooked meal and a hot tub was a much better evening than...

Concealed Carry Permit Holders Across the United States: 2024

Missouri here, last time our permits came due I asked the wife if she was content to vacation only in Missouri the rest of her life. She said no, so we both renewed for travel purposes. Yes, our tourist dollars ONLY go to States that recognize our carry permits.

    Found this at my LGS

I think you will really like the Ed Brown invented Bobtail. Breaking that corner really does help prevent the gun from "Tenting" under a cover garment.

Javbike, surely you mean that Bella Lugosi fella, and not Bassbob that we all aspire to be!
