I'm sure they will fix it, but wish they would have a better QA/QC check before releasing to the public. I always joke about how the consumer base is their QA/QC dept.

Welcome to the forum from Central Texas. I've not had that issue with mine and I use the Springfield mags exclusively. However, I could see the slide not going far back enough to lock if the gun was really dirty. If I have 400 ish + rounds through it without cleaning, the slide starts to slow...
