I’ve heard .22 that were mouse fart quiet. Never seen (heard?) that with any other round. You can always hear the gun fire. All suppressors I’ve seen have a 30 db or so rating-that still leaves a 100 db sound-a lot louder than ambient unless you’re in a foundry😏
