Three Self-Defense Pistol Drills for Public Shooting Ranges

Wow, I am old enough that I remember a stage of “point shooting” without sights and uiu got screamed at is uiu even tried to use your front sight never the no draw thing. I started in the USAF with Model 15 revolvers and Jordan style holsters and we always started a stage holstered. Some went...

Three Self-Defense Pistol Drills for Public Shooting Ranges

I worked at an indoor range and we had marks on the walls within a couple days. Ruger had it it’s always preceded by guys that quip “I’ve been shootjng my whole life, or I was in the Military” then there’s a mark on the walls within not even down range more like 5 feet past the stall! So...

Three Self-Defense Pistol Drills for Public Shooting Ranges

Good points. I wish more ranges would allow patrons the option of being able to draw. Perhaps do a class and make your RDOs have some valid vetted instructor knowledge instead of just being a safety and rule monitor wouldn’t be too much to ask.

Springfield 1911 Operator AOS 9mm Review: Three World Wars!

disclaimer I haven’t read the whole article yet but have a 45 Operator (2022) and it is a great gun. There isn’t anything wrong with folks that use and carry a 1911 for a CCW it’s just that they are not for everyone. And it cracks me up with a 1911 or Revolver someone has to say the obvious...

No SS as in the state didn’t pay into it OR your penalized because of a government pension? If yes to the Government pension they changed that with the windfall elimination act. If anyone falls into that chime in I’ll share the link. Several folks from my Fed Agency that were CSRS just got...

    More Sig 320 drama

We pulled off all kinds of Lorcins, Jennings you name it off perps in Arkansas outside Memphis early 90’s. Wasn’t uncommon to see some with grip panels missing and even the wrong ammo loaded in them. Really really was the Wild West some shifts have some funny stories.

Now if they would just do away with the earning limit of those retired Federal folks that get a Social Security Supplement as part of their 6C Fed LE retirement before full Social Security kicks in because they are under the minimum age for full social security. Several would work more but don’t...

Goose, respectfully this is the second 320 thread you started, so not sure why you are so mad about someone else’s decisions. everyone has been pretty respectful discussing. And while yes there is an issue and yes Sig dropped the ball it’s still up there the other person and not you if they take...

I don’t disagree with your statements and really try to push folks to train with Cognative decision making courses where rule 4 issues are something your gonna have to deal with. (John Hearne and Darryl Bolke are great instructors for that) And don’t settle on flat range agency qualifications...

Well Glock had the 17 then 19 for how many years before the 34/35 came out in 1998? I get with the popularity of Red Dits that whole...
