Good article, the only piece left out is what the cost is in upgrading the Echelon like this. I am guessing it is probably more than the average person buying an Echelon can afford.

I picked up my Echelon ( O D Green ) last weekend. It is a thing of beauty. can't wait to take it out this weekend and run some rounds downrange. It was a tough decision between that or the FDE, but since I already had one in FDE, I went with my favorite color.

Beautiful looking pistol. The price is more than what most common folk can afford or justify for a pistol. The Ronin is a nice-looking pistol and under a grand. Probably get something slightly used for a little less.

The pistols that I drool over are the SK custom jobs, not all of them but some of them are downright gorgeous and I would love to own. But they are waaayyyyy out of my price range.

I love me some 45 ACP. Mine is a Springfield Range Officer and my oldest grandson's shoot it better than the 9mm pistol. God, forbid I let them handle weapons in this day and age. They know how, what, when, and the proper way to handle every firearm we have. Makes me proud when they tell adults...

I don't believe the generation now can even understand what or how the great generation and the people from that era worked together. Not only were they frugal and did not waste anything, but they could also be counted on to help each other out during tough times. Neighbors all knew one another...
