    Prodigy Trigger Shoe

Removing and replacing the trigger on a 2011 is a simple job in and of itself. However you will need to effectively disassemble the entire gun to get the grip module free in order to get the trigger out. While you are in there you should also file down any extraneous plastic flashing in the...

SIG M18 mishaps investigated in death of Airman 7/20/25

What’s more he pulls the trigger back to the break, then inserts the screw so that everything is effectively at the point of firing and then is surprised when he jacks around with the gun and it goes off. How many cops carry a gun in a holster with the trigger remotely in that condition. Could...

SIG M18 mishaps investigated in death of Airman 7/20/25

One of mine has a screwball attached to it. Still hasn’t gone off though. 😎🙄🤪😇

SIG M18 mishaps investigated in death of Airman 7/20/25

So basically, he says I think it can happen under these extreme circumstances but I can’t prove it, so I’m going to stick a screw in here to induce this one-in-many-thousands (being generous here) situation. I don’t know how Sig hasn’t just closed its doors after this damning evidence.

SIG M18 mishaps investigated in death of Airman 7/20/25

Let me see him randomly pick six P320s and make this happen. No investigation by any legitimate source would use one test subject that has been used by multiple owners and subjected to who knows what. Not saying there isn’t a problem, but this hasn’t found it. This guy has 25k viewers but over 5...

I wouldn’t mind pulling her trigger.

Springfield Prodigy DS 1911 4.25 Comp AOS

The main thing is to keep 2011s lubed. I’d probably clean about every 300 rds. To me it depends on how much the gun cost. Do I want to screw up a $3k? No. So I might fuss with it more. My Prodigy has 4,000 rds through it and it is very slick. I’ve done some polishing of internals and smoothing...

Springfield Prodigy DS 1911 4.25 Comp AOS

It depends on who you talk to. As soon as you say the 4.25 comp seems pretty trouble free someone comes on to say otherwise. Bottom line is that if you get one and have issues Springfield customer service is excellent and will get it sorted. The other thing to keep in mind is that 2011s...

    Chuck Mangioni passed

That’s a pretty good idea under most circumstances! 😎😇

    Chuck Mangioni passed

Sad day. Saw Chuck when I was a young trumpet player. He was on the Feels So Good tour. He was a big influence.

    Gunsite Bans Sig P320

    That’s a big one.

SIG M18 mishaps investigated in death of Airman 7/20/25

The problem is clearly with the P320. And let’s face it you need a hammer for the Glock trigger. 😎

SIG M18 mishaps investigated in death of Airman 7/20/25

A lot of the issues with LEO have been Safariland holsters that take a weapon light. It is possible for foreign objects to get into the holster while the gun is in it. Sig has recommended not using that particular holster.

SIG M18 mishaps investigated in death of Airman 7/20/25

Once again, in a Safariland holster. That combo definitely seems to be an issue. Do USAF carry with weapon lights?

    Grip tape

I meant to say I buy the painful-to-look-at in sheets and cut it into strips. You can buy sheets of the various compounds.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

I like the 507C in green. Great dot. I recently picked up the 507 Comp in green. It is not shabby.

    Grip tape

I like Handle It grips. I actually think they are better than Talon grips. They have a choice of compounds from very mild to painful-to-look at. I but the painful-to-look-at and cut it into strips that I like to put on the bottom of my trigger guards. It allows me to lock my grip in tight.
