I can't see well enough at far distances to distinguish any target nor am I steady enough to hit long range targets any more ... maybe when I was younger. The rifles, especially today, are so accurate (in the right shooters hands) it's incredible. I watched one of the precision shooting...

Yep, my Marlin model 60 is very ammo particular. It likes CCI Mini Mags, Winchester Super X and some old Thunderbolt I have. Will not cycle with Remington High Velocity, they jamb and get dented trying to load.

This 10/22 Takedown Lite #21152 has a $839 MSRP but I've seen it in a few stores for $699 and you still have to get some sights, scope, red dot, etc. for it.

I think I paid $60 for my Marlin Model 60 back around 1985.

I just bought the 10/22 Collector's Series for $342. The price definitely does go up when you get into all the takedown models.
