Thanks Mike. Can't get any better than your passion being your career, being shared with family.
I guess we all to keep an eye out for the new platforms. 😉
Bella, just have fun shooting for now. You and your eyes were probably tired after a long hard day working. Accuracy will probably come together for you when you can practice when rested. Have fun!
I can't see well enough at far distances to distinguish any target nor am I steady enough to hit long range targets any more ... maybe when I was younger.
The rifles, especially today, are so accurate (in the right shooters hands) it's incredible. I watched one of the precision shooting...
So of course I wanted to shoot at least a few shots through the new rifle. It snowed Monday & Tuesday and it's supposed to snow Thursday & Friday but it was clear today though very cold, 7° with a -1° wind chill. So off to the range I went.
It's a good thing the range is just minutes away...
Yep, my Marlin model 60 is very ammo particular. It likes CCI Mini Mags, Winchester Super X and some old Thunderbolt I have. Will not cycle with Remington High Velocity, they jamb and get dented trying to load.
This 10/22 Takedown Lite #21152 has a $839 MSRP but I've seen it in a few stores for $699 and you still have to get some sights, scope, red dot, etc. for it.

Mike is on Guns and Ammo TV again right now talking about the Hellion 20" barrel model w/bayonet this week.
On the Outdoor channel. It will be on again at 1:00 A.M. eastern time.
2 Hogue Handall Grips for Hellcat Pro, 1 black & 1 gray. I have a joint in my shooting hand thumb acting up lately, hope's this softens the recoil a little.
I saw that Guns & Ammo episode with Mike last Wednesday night. I think it's season 20, episode 32, that first appeared sometime on New Year's Day. Yep, here is the episode title.
Episode 32
Celebrating 75 Years of Hornady - The Beginning
Mon, Jan 1, 2024 30 mins
Nice price. Things have definitely gone up since 2020. The MSRP for that rifle new is now $669.
Not sure what the MSRP is on the Sports South takedown (Ruger doesn't list distributor model MSRPs) but I can probably get it for $530.
The non-takedown Go Camo model MSRP is $439, I can get for...
I'm not sure why you can't insert a fully loaded mag to start with. I can with mine. Between not being able to load a full mag and the double stripping cartridges it almost sounds like the mag isn't in the right posture when inserted. Not sure what the lunartech flared Maxwell is but I'd go...
