Confessions of an a A-6 Intruder Pilot

Stephen Coonts wrote a great novel called, "The Flight Of The Intruder". It was the first of many books he authored that I enjoyed immensely. He really digs into what it meant to take on the missions the A-6 was designed for.

Maybe some Federal judge should rule that Gavin Newsome is unconstitutional.

    Buying a new car/truck?

This past July I went back to my tried-and-true truck, the Ram 2500. I've owned a series of Ram HD trucks over the years and just like how they drive. This one has the 6.4L / 392 cu.in. HEMI in it. No messing around with Jeeps for me anymore. I use the Ram to pull our RV, trips to the local...

The characters of The Armory life.

Since this is a very mixed group and that we are all a little crazy in our own way, I feel you fit in quite well, @Belt Fed. Carry On! 🇺🇸

I have no words [Portland PD]

This is one of the many examples of why I moved from Portland. Despite the politics, the taxes and the wokeness that pervades Portland, Oregon is a beautiful state, and I miss being there.

    So Now, We Ban Jeeps

My JL & JT Jeeps were awesome. Jeep can still build a capable crawler. What happens to it after it's sold ain't the fault of the Jeep, it all lands on the shoulders of the owner. I hate seeing those mall crawler Jeeps.

    CMMG Banshee - .45ACP

Any CMMG fans here? After a 14 week wait my CMMG Banshee in .45ACP arrived recently. It replaces Kriss Vector CRB-20 that was great to shoot but just a bit too long and forward heavy. If you ever get the chance to fire one take it! It is way too much fun. Anyway....on to the CMMG.... While...

    Springfield’s Customer Service

My experience with SA Customer Service has been world class each time. I sent my SA Champion Operator Lightweight for some custom shop touches a few years ago. The communication was great and the turnaround was extremely quick. It's one of the reasons I have several SA handguns.

    Is Your Carbine’s Zero Wrong?

I'm using a 50 yd zero for my AR & a 62 gr FMJ round. I recognize the bullet drop data in the article based on my own experiences. Now I just have to find that perfect zero for my .45 ACP PCC with a 8" barrel, 1:16 twist, firing 230gr FMJ. Since I only plan on using that firearm at short...
