Been up for a while, but I'm taking it slow today. Seems (feels) like I've been in hyper drive since my vacation started. The husband left for work last night and I am adjusting to my less peopley environment. It is cloudy, cold and rainy, so I am just going to poke around here in the house...

My CC9 Falco holster came while we were away. FedEx stuck it between the storm door and the front door.

We got home this morning at around 01:15. Got to bed by 2, up at 8:30. The wind must have been brutal through here at one point because one of our smaller juniper trees snapped completely off, the garbage can had tipped over and moved about six feet, and our thin blue line and thin red line...

We’re racing it home. We’re supposed to get rain tomorrow and Tuesday.

We lost the heavy wind in South Dakota, but we just went through Bismarck and boy, did it catch up with us. Seems like just all of a sudden. Should be home in about three hours.

So…the husband wanted to take a side trip to Devil’s Tower. It will put us home after midnight but hey, he’s the one that has to work on Tuesday. Me…I’m off till Thursday.

Next 80 miles of sketchy cell service. Hit and miss. Might be time for a nap. 😉

They are predicting high winds and rain starting this evening here in Rawlins, so it’ll be that front hitting I’m sure. Looks like we’ll have strong tailwinds most of the way. Got a late start today but should make good time since ND upped their speed limit to 80. 😎

Oh my, I hope everything goes okay for both of you and the pain goes away. I’ve never felt that kind but I know it’s not easy. Wishing you both a speedy recovery.
