    Bowling Pin Shoot?

Better go with the 45. It will sling them off the table, while the 9 will merely annoy them and make them spin around while the clock continues to go…

    More USPS Excellence.

Last year my local delivery person decided it was ok to toss boxes containing Christmas presents on the ground near the mailbox rather than put them on the porch. Luckily the raccoons did not find my pecan pie in time!

F-100 Super Sabre: A Supersonic Coffin?

Don’t have the exact numbers on the AV8A/C, but the loss rate was horrendous. The USMC lost a lot of good pilots in that machine.

    Scheels Store - OMG

They have a lot of higher grade guns that you don’t see at BPS or Cabelas. Very nice selection of guns! They also have traps and a great selection of ammo. It hurts my wallet every time I go…

When it comes down to it, what is your "go to" EDC?

Hellcat Pro is my first choice, followed by Staccato C2 when I can wear heavier cover garments.

    F-105 Thunderchief: The Mighty Thud

Anyone who has even the slightest interest in combat aviation or Vietnam has to read Thud Ridge. It is absolutely riveting to read what the F105 guys were tasked to do over there and how they went out day after day into the toughest air defenses ever seen. They took tremendous losses and kept...

The Air Force Needs Fewer Leaders and More Wrench-Turners… Here’s How to Get Them

I read a fairly recent statement by the Secretary of the Air Force that stated their biggest problem was a lack of diversity in their pilots. You can’t recover from stupidity like that…

    Hellcat Pro 9

Lots of reviews on YouTube to look at. I bought one and have been very impressed with it. I think it is the perfect size for concealment while retaining enough size to shoot easily. Best EDC I’ve had. So far it has been extremely reliable as well.

Sig P226 Legion SAO vs Staccato P (Sept 1, 2023)

I’m very familiar with the SIG 220/226/228 series of guns but not the Legion. I’ve also got a Staccato C2 recently. My opinion is that the C2 is the easiest handgun to shoot and the most accurate. It is in the $2000 range for the basic gun and $2300 for the optical version which is not far from...

    Supportive Wife, Significant Other

USMC, you are a lucky man! Life is much easier when you have massive support from those around you. I am also blessed in the same way and I count my lucky stars… Cheers-Gofer

    A-6 Intruder: The Iron Tadpole

Great airplane that was singular in its ability to fight at night and in bad weather. Carried a great bomb load also. Minor note—the A6 was known as the Ugly, while the EA6B was the Double Ugly. I knew guys who flew both.
