I knew it was sarcasm, but diesel Toyota HiLux's do exist. They are not allowed to be imported into the US, but I still want one. They are a great pickup. I drove one on a job I did in Africa back in 1999-2000. I loved it.

I live in South Texas, where it's hot 11 months out of the year. That 1-2 months out of the year when I wear a light jacket, I sometimes shoulder carry. I don't have any issues with it, unless I might have to remove my jacket for some reason.

I'd love to have a diesel 4x4 Hilux, but Toyota doesn't want to deal with the US diesel emissions laws. And putting on all that emissions crap ruins a good engine.
