Is It Just Me? Why Do Random Strangers Feel The Need To Inform Me They're Armed?

Are you by chance creepy looking. 😁 I’ve got a buddy who has a strange compulsion to inform me every time we meet that he’s carrying today. “Pants on gun on” is my response, I think I’m supposed to give him a knuckle bump or something.

Should You Display Your Collectible Firearms?

I saw one of those recently in Bozeman, MT. That sir is a nice low key flex.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Dealer told me there were none available yet at the distribution level. They are labeled as limited production, I guess I wasn’t ready to take a chance they would be gone before they were available. I have holes in my safe due to waiting for limited supply to show up on its own.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Ordered a Marlin 1894 Trapper, in 10mm. Not what I thought my PCC would be, but here I am.

Ruger Introduces the Marlin Trapper Model 1894 in 10mm Auto

I was hoping a .327 Fed would make an appearance. This is very nearly as good though. 10mm 1911 plus an 1894 in 10mm. I guess I will continue to blaspheme against the laws of nature.

Classic car enthusiasts step right in

The car is a ‘66 Ford Galaxie 500. 289 w/ automatic transmission, power steering and brakes. The plates arrived this week. I had wanted C-5. My wife preferred this. She claims this is my new girlfriend hmm thought the quote would be attached. Anyway…

Classic car enthusiasts step right in

Absolutely, 10 yrs ago I was mildly pursuing a BMW road bike. A bit expensive and a bit too proper for lack of a better term. That last bit was both attractive and repulsive at the same time.

Interesting, I told my wife we needed an ice cream truck! The guy that sold it told her to make sure I took her out for ice cream.

Classic car enthusiasts step right in

I’ve always entertained the idea of owning a classic car. I’ve owned 3 Mustangs from ‘67 to ‘95 and a couple Thunderbirds over the years. They were pretty much by necessity drivers. Recently I’ve gone pure classic with no reason but pleasure to get it out. Nothing exotic, but it has the vibe.

    Do I wanna rock 🤘

I’ll give this input. There are times when my Sandman needs quite a bit of cranking to remove. The mount has yet to budge (rock set), not saying my grip is set to foot pounds of torque. I’m happy enough it’s solidly mounted. My thinking was, if OEM decided rockset was needed to mount nothing…

Building or Buying? A Case for the SAINT Edge

I have a Saint Edge pistol. Unsuppressed, it works. Suppressed it works. Any mag, it works. Mag full of every sort of ammo I have made or purchased, it works. That’s the sort of thing that doesn’t make me angry. If I knew where to research or had vast amount of experience, there is no doubt I...

Revisiting an Old Concept: A Common-Cartridge Long Gun and Revolver

I see adding a .41 mag rifle as a better option for my current situation. But I could be quickly talked into a 10mm rifle, and feel it would be better suited to a home defense situation than a .41 would be.

Old Versus New Cartridges: Which Rifle Rounds Are Better?

I wouldn’t trade a 300 WM for a 300 PRC. But, if I were new to western hunting I would get the PRC. I can’t think of a new cartridge that would make me trade out the old standard.
