Yeah, the CMMG feels a lot smoother than the Kriss. Although, they can both knock the wings off a mosquito at 25 yds with no problem.

At the time it was built it was classified as a carbine. I think the definition still applies despite the ATF's attempts to the contrary.

No. Kriss calls it a barrel extension but really, it's just a box attached to the end of the barrel.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Nothing major but I did order a SS guide rod & spring for my Echelon the other day. Oh, and another order was placed with Springfield Armory as well. More on that later.

    echelon integral compensator

I suspect that SA will eventually offer a comp for the Echelon as you can already get a threaded barrel for it. I put a comp on my Echelon from Springer Precision along with their IMSI spring just to flatten the recoil impulse a bit. The recoil was not an issue in stock form but the change in...

Big Tech Anti-2A Censorship Is Alive and Well

It would be an interesting & volatile legal battle if they were sued for violating citizens' rights under the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I can hear all their smarmy arguments now...

    Echelon Compact

I am very happy with my Echelon. A compact version of that firearm by SA is basically the Hellcat though it would be a bit snappier than the full-size Echelon. The Hellcat RDP intrigues me, and I hope to rent one soon to try it out. It has a factory compensator on it and that should smooth it out.

Time to rethink Google and YouTube

This action is dangerously close to violating the rights of citizens under the First and Second Amendments to the Constitution. Google should be called forward to face the courts for this unconscionable action. Oh, and my personal message to the soft headed execs at Google who decided this was...

    Is This the Ultimate Echelon?

I enjoyed watching that video, @Mike H. My Echelon has a Springer Precision compensator installed and I immediately felt less recoil. I also experienced less muzzle rise with the compensator on the firearm. I'm wondering if porting and adding a compensator basically provide the same level of...

    My Echelon Modifications

In March I purchased a Springfield Armory Echelon. I've never owned a striker fired 9mm pistol in my life. After doing some research, and before I fired it for the first time I did some simple modifications. 1. Changed out the grip panel to the small one provided with the weapon. 2. Changed...

    Excessive Heat

Nothing but 100+ here for the past two weeks or so. We've had a couple of breaks over that period but dropping to 95 deg F isn't much of a break. It is currently 109 deg F here in Apache Junction, AZ down from 110 yesterday. Gotta love the desert.
