Assuming you had Vortex replace it for free? That's not normal - they usually hold up even on rifle calibers.

Which part? Fire three shots. From the center of that group, turn the dials to move the dot to the point of aim based on the MOA per click and the distance. E.g. 10 feet, 1 MOA per click dot, 10 clicks per inch in the direction the POI should move.

Drop the hammer. Slave the pin with a punch, then tap the pin in, driving the punch out.
