What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

I didn't intend to, but I came across this deal and had been looking at 226's anyway... so I've checked out and it will be on the way to my FFL tomorrow. Known good seller, not a scam. No shipping or sales tax, either.

No, I don't need it. Yes, I may buy it. Used Sig 320. Need your advice...

Mine must be defective. I keep waiting for it to shoot itself when I'm in the A Zone on a target, but it always waits on me to pull the trigger once my sights are in the C Zone. :)

In California, probably reasonable. Anywhere else? $150 too high. They're fine guns - they don't go off on their own... they just have very light triggers with no trigger safety, so they're easy to pull without thinking if your habit is "draw to trigger" and you're not careful about crap in...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

I just shot a match at Angelina Rifle & Pistol club there last weekend. GREAT place, and Crockett, just to the west, is a neat little town. Davy Crockett National Forest is nearby, too.

An ARTX mount for my 10/22, upon which a Primary Arms GLx 1X prism will go. This allows the dot to mount directly to the rail (via screws up through it), getting it very, very low. The 10/22 is a Clark Custom with their quad-fluted 16" barrel and full action job, 2# trigger. In the pic, the...

WTF is happening in New York?

Let them crater, publicly. Sometimes "your" value in life is being the example of what not to do. They need to come to terms with the results of their policy decisions.

WTF is happening in New York?

So no more fire departments, police departments or public roads? Back to fire departments provided by insurance companies... if you're their policy holder? All of those are brought to you by socialism - taking from people and providing a public benefit.

WTF is happening in New York?

Putting food on the table does. It's part of capitalism. Filling a market need at a desired price point, and it's a trade off between consumption and production, all the constraints, etc.

WTF is happening in New York?

Me either. I go by definitions. When the state is taking ownership of the means of production, that's communist.

WTF is happening in New York?

Oh, so we're only "partially" communist, then. That's better.

WTF is happening in New York?

You are wrong. Tarriffs are paid by the importers in the US. Every cent going into the government treasury came out of the pocket of an American importer.

WTF is happening in New York?

You keep using this word but I don't think you understand it. Do you mean socialist? Because right now, our President is 100% communist by definition: the government is taking on ownership of private companies and redistributing wealth from the rich to the needy - recent example: the "we're...

WTF is happening in New York?

Because you're in an online forum where people think there are only two views: theirs and everyone else's. If you don't 100% align with them, you're on the other side.

Time to get in the shower/tub to pee, isn't it?

WTF is happening in New York?

Money. Jobs. There's two reasons. We have LOTS of people moving here from California for cheaper housing, and because they can sell in Cali and buy here in cash with their Cali-sale equity and simply own outright. Then they keep voting the same way they always have because that's their...

(New to Me) Stealth Arms Platypus

Absolutely love mine. If they come out with a steel frame, that'll be my next one.

WTF is happening in New York?

Because they bring their beliefs and ideals with them, not realizing that implementing those (voting for them) led to the problems they left from. "Doing the same thing here will be better than it was there..." even though 'here' is only 'here' because those things weren't done here.

    Yes. :)

From their own terms: So, in fact, retailers using their site can offer (and Ammoseek accepts) commissions based on existing 3rd party affiliate program links in lieu of their monthly fee, so long as the commission is higher than the monthly fee. Option 4 also gives them that ability because...
