Oil is OK as a lube but it doesn't stay put in the long term the way grease does. T25 grease was developed for the military and it is white so less likely to stain your clothes. But the important thing is some good lube on friction surfaces regardless of your flavor.

I always use grease on the rails of my semi-autos, TW25 to be exact. If the rails are dry with a little crud from firing they can jam up a pistol with tight tolerances. But I am curious about your ammo. Whenever I have encountered a lockup like you described it was an ammo problem.

Only Firstline dealers in the program

When I was a kid before we got running water we had an outhouse. My Mom always told my Dad and me to go first in the morning. I figured out she needed someone to warm up the seat.

I don't have a Firstline dealer in my area either. If you call SA customer service they will put you on to a Firstline dealer. That's how I ended up with South Dakota Arms. They shipped to my LGS and I had it within a week.

Life was much simpler in outhouses....
