My family, as have many, has been EXTREMELY touched by drug addiction. We have put too many of our brothers and sisters in the ground. I say bring the heat, no mercy! Draw a line, if it is crossed Hell is to follow.
I hope you find peace friend. Loss of a loved one is never an easy thing. Take joy in the memories of good times had together and share those memories with others as often as you can. The healing you recieve will be enormous.

About once every year or two around here a truck driver is killed hauling pulp wood because some kid in a Honda darts in front of him. Some times multiple cars at a time, they just have to take that gap. Forcing the driver to swerve and surrender his life so he doesn't kill others.

Brother, we are on the same side. I do understand and agree with your point. One's geographical position however, in these United States, changes the required action to remain safe, uninjured, and able to move about as you wish.
Not sure on a case by case, I get it, the right to carry is just that, but if anything, it clouds the legal system by allowing you, me, or anyone else to subvert the vetting process required to work toward preventing stupid people from legally carrying a gun.
As far as killing, seems at least 1 or more per week. All where Nobody saw anything,even in gatherings with 20 plus people.
