    Ayoob: Why I Don’t Want a Custom 1911

I was at a skeet or trap shoot many years ago where an adult toddler threw his $15,000 Krieghoff on the ground. Some people should not be trusted with firearms. Sheesh, he could have just given that Krieghoff tto me...

    Joined the NRA

NRA is a big animal. I need them to maintain my civilian and LEO instructor certifications and have received some first rate instructor training through the program over the years. I don't pay much attention to the political side of the outfit and ignore the panhandling

Walther Suspends Production of the PPK, PPK/S, and PP Legacy Products

    Stainless Garrison Locked Up

Oil is OK as a lube but it doesn't stay put in the long term the way grease does. T25 grease was developed for the military and it is white so less likely to stain your clothes. But the important thing is some good lube on friction surfaces regardless of your flavor.

SIG SAUER Launches the SIG516 G3

I don't know who you have been talking to but the quality of all my SIGs spanning 30 years has been excellent. As has the quality of my Springfield Armory firearms. And I shoot them, a lot.

Department of war or defense ?

Trump through Hegseth has upset the Generals apple cart. This is a big change to a lot of the brass. So many of them know nothing of combat but want, in the words of Mel Brooks, to protect their phoney baloney jobs. They are preparing to fight a knock down, drag out war with China and the...

    Stainless Garrison Locked Up

I always use grease on the rails of my semi-autos, TW25 to be exact. If the rails are dry with a little crud from firing they can jam up a pistol with tight tolerances. But I am curious about your ammo. Whenever I have encountered a lockup like you described it was an ammo problem.
