My Fellow Texans are Letting Me Down!

Yep. Many thug crimes are committed with guns stolen from vehicles, its a common theme in crime reports

What are you doing right now??

We belong to an exclusive club, sir. We get to see the sunrise, and the sunset. On the other hand, when Mrs Greener went with me to an 0600 appointment, she asked what that big orange thing is to the east...

My Fellow Texans are Letting Me Down!

About 5 years ago or so I was parked in a shopping center lot near the beltway in San Antonio while we went into a PetsMart. Someone broke into my truck with some tool that defeated the door lock. I didn't even know it had been broken into until I noticed my laptop and laptop bag were missing...

Saint Louis County PD adopts Echelon

I wonder if we are seeing the start of a trend away from polymer guns. Judging from what I see in my LGS, there is more interest in all metal guns than I have seen in recent years.

Florida sheriffs are a force. My sheriff is not as visible on media but is cut from the same cloth.

What are you doing right now??

Shot up my plus-P Critical Duty carry ammo today and replaced with new. Man that stuff has some PUNCH in the 1911 TRP CC AOS, as compared to the 230 grain ball I have been shooting.

Coffee on board and dogs fed. Horses a little later, it is cold out there. Posse is coming to my range this morning to shoot pistol drills in the coolness then lunch somewhere. Baltic Birch plywood for a set of cabinets for daughter's media room being delivered Friday or Monday, I'm gonna be...

    NGD/Range Day - SA 1911 TRP CC .45 (AOS) - 9 Dec 25

Good shooting! You will come to love that TRP. I am disappointed with the blued 7 round mags that came with the gun, but I have a dozen stainless Wilson Combat mags that I use so I just consider them spares. The magazine springs will ease up with some use. The UPLULA loader is essential...

For The Love Of The Commander

This SIG 1911 takes the Commander a step further. If it had a rail andctactical rack rear sight it would be the perfect concealment 1911. I stupidly let a good friend talk me out of this one, I try to convince him to sell it back to me on a,weekly basis

For The Love Of The Commander

I love my full size 1911's, but have always gravitated to Commander sized pistols for concealed carry. Dating back to S&W 669, SIG P228 and P220 Carry, SIG P320 Compact, my Commander, and my current SA TRP CC AOS. They just make sense for me

    December 6th and December 7th

I have not seen an Air Force base with contract security. They are either military Security Forces or DoD police officers. Andvthey are dead serious. But I can't speak for all of them, having retired in 2011.
