And carry an extra magazine if you carry a semi automatic. Generally, a reload is the fastest way to clear a stoppage. Drop the mag, work the slide vigorously and reload. If the stoppage is not cleared by that, you probably won't have time to clear it at all.

Agreed. Despite my preference for the three inch BBL for its ballistic advantage and vastly better sights, if I could only have one J Frame it would be the ugliest sidearm I own, the Bodyguard pictured above. It is the gun I carry when I cannot carry a gun.
